First Isolate Infested Plants 

Prune Infested Areas 

Trim away heavily infested plant parts like leaves, stems, or branches. Dispose of these cuttings in a sealed plastic bag to prevent the bugs from spreading further 

Manual Removal 

Use a cotton swab or a soft brush dipped in rubbing alcohol to carefully wipe off the mealybugs. This method is effective for small infestations.

Hose Them Down 

Outdoors, you can use a strong stream of water from a hose to dislodge mealybugs from the plant. Repeat this process regularly until the infestation is gone. 

Neem Oil 

Neem oil is a natural insecticide that can be effective against mealybugs. Mix neem oil with water according to the instructions on the product label and spray it on the affected plants. Be sure to cover both the tops and bottoms of leaves.
